Abstract (EN)

Travelers are important figures who shed light on the past about the places visited and seen. Travelogue writers are influenced by the historical and cultural values of the geographies they visit and write such works with the desire to tell their own people. For this purpose, the Indian travelogue of Haji Zeynelabidin Shirvani, an Azerbaijani traveler who recorded what he saw, was examined and translated. However, before proceeding to this chapter, information about the geography of India has been given in order to better understand what the traveler has conveyed. After giving information about the whole of India, the traveler also saw its cities. He gave brief information about the places where these cities were founded and their climate, political history, culture and beliefs, as well as some events that attracted his attention. The period we are talking about is XVIII. since a century ago, some cities within the borders of Pakistan, which is a separate state today, have also been Indian territory since the period. Our study was also carried out within this framework and mold transfer.
