Abstract (EN)
The water is an indispensable element of life and it is also one of the limited resources. Hence it is known that an artificial substance can not be found instead of water, importance of water increases in every passing day. Developing technologies, parallel to growing population along with global climate changes impact water resources negatively. As a result, water resources on earth are not distributed as homogeneous, causing water problems to be intensified. Therefore, it is more important than ever to balance water use and distribution and water resources should be used wisely by new strategies. This study supplies information about current water resources, water conservation, design methods and plastics. With the guidance of this knowledge a device is designed and produced to save water resources. The mechanism is designed to carry water from its source in a practical and easier way to an adjustable distance where it is used.Automatic rewind hose system, which would be easily inserted directly to the faucets works on a principle of pulling the hose as desired and pushing the nozzle to use water and re-pulling hose to make it return to its nest.It is designed in the aim of preventing water waste and to supply more hygiene conditions during the water usage especially in our country, where places the water is consumed tensely while cleaning personally and cleaning places which are cleaned by carrying water by cups or buckets.Mechanism can be directly connected to the faucet as well to the water source of the water on the wall. Hence hose is prevented from touching the dirty ground, it is kept clean. Since it will be used directly from its source the system eliminates any hygiene problems may occur due to carrying water via cups by different people.
