Settlement of disputes arising from insurance law by the Insurance Arbitration Committee

In our country, the popularity of the insurance industry is increasing rapidly because of the rising population, development of technology and many similar reasons as well as in the whole world. Accordingly, with the development of the insurance industry, the disputes arising from insurance law are increasing and become varied. Regrettably, courts are insufficient to meet the public expectation due to the complex judgement processes and the absence of specialized courts in the field of insurance yet. For this reason, the Insurance Arbitration Commission, which has been brought into our legal system to solve this problem, has serious importance, and in this study, the issue of solving disputes arising from insurance before the Insurance Arbitration Commission will be examined. In this study, the pros and cons of the system will be examined for determining by making use of the legislation, doctrine and judicial decisions and solution proposals will be tried to be presented.
