Abstract (EN)

Salvia officinalis L. plant was used as material in this research in 2018 was carried out in Siirt ecological conditions. The experiment in which distances of different intrarows are applied in sage; Siirt University Faculty of Agriculture in the trial field according to the randomized block trial design was established as four replications. The distance between rows was 70 cm and the distance of intrarows was 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 cm. In the study, plant height (cm), number of branches (pieces), leaf length (cm), leaf width (cm), stem diameter (cm), essential oil ratio (%) and essential oil components were determined. When the results were evaluated in general, the effect of on-line distance on leaf length, leaf width and body thickness were not statistically significant. However, the effect of intarow distance on the number of plant height branch number of essential oil was statistically significant. According to the results of the study, the highest plant height was 36.49 cm from intrarow distance 20 cm and the lowest plant height 28.32 cm from a row distance 50 cm. The highest number of branches was obtained from 7,62 pieces with 60 cm intrarow spacing, and the lowest number of branches was 5,50 and 40 cm intrarow spacing. The highest volatile oil content of 1.15% from 20 cm intrarow distance, the lowest volatile oil ratio was taken from 0.86% to 60 cm intrarow distance. In addition, as the intrarow distances increased, volatile oil ratios decreased. In addition, as the intrarow distances increased, volatile oil ratios decreased. Major essential oil components are; á-Thujon, Camphor, 1,8-Cineole, Endo-Borneol, l-Limonene, Bornylacetate, Epiglobulol, trans-Caryophyllene, à-Caryophyllene, á-Myrcene and à-Terpenine.
