Determination of morphology and quality characterisrics of Thymbra spicata L. var. Spicata, Hypericum triquetrifolium Turra. and Hypericum scabrum L. in the Lezer campus area of Siirt University

This study was carried out in 2016 in order to determine the morphological and quality characteristics of the Zahter plant and the centaury species found in the Flora of Kezer Campus of Siirt province. In this study, Zahter (Thymbra spicata L. var. spicata), Pırpır Otu (Hypericum triquetrifolium Turra.) and Kepir Otu (Hypericum scabrum L.), which have a natural distribution in Kezer Campus of Siirt University, were used as herbal material. Morphological characteristics and quality characteristics of the species studied on different aspects (north, south, east, west) and at different harvesting times (zahter: before flowering, full bloom and flowering, centaury: full bloom and flower-fruit period) were determined. In Zahter, according to the design of the divided parcels in random blocks, 4 different replications were made in the experimental design of the divided parcels divided in random blocks. According to the research results; zahterde plant height 14.10-30.20 cm, body floor thickness 0.28-0.83 cm, leaf length 0.70-1.33 cm, leaf width 0.20-0.33 cm, number of flowers 16.00-64.76 pcs / plant, calyx length 0.58-0.78 cm, petal length 0.35- 0.60 cm, the length of pedil length 0.48-0.65 cm and volatile oil 2.13-3.15%, in the volatile oil Carvacrol ratio ranged from 39.29-65.97%. Plant height in Hypericum triquetrifolium (27.55-53.43 cm), body base thickness (0.25-0.38 cm), leaf length (0.48-1.65 cm), leaf width (0.15-0.25 cm), number of flowers (83.25-281.50 pieces / plant ), calyx length (0.25-0.35 cm), petal length (0.60-1.03 cm), pedal length (1.05-1.38 cm), capsule length (1.32-1.64 mm), capsule width (1.35-1.82 mm), capsule weight ( While the amount of hypericin was between 0.0013-0.0033 g) and the amount of hypericin (0.6-5.28 g). / plant, 0.18-0.25 cm, 0.56-0.90 cm, 0.83-0.98 cm, 2.00-2.22 mm, 2.10-2.44 mm, 0.0032-0.0077 g and the amount of hypericin ranged from 0.50-4.11 g.
