Abstract (EN)

Nanofluidics obtained by dispersing nanoparticles in a basic fluid are preferred for the purpose of increasing heat transfer due to their high heat conduction coefficients. In this study, SiO2, TiO2 and SiO2-TiO2 hybrid nanofluidics were prepared in which SiO2 and TiO2 were used as nanoparticles and water, ethylene glycol and ethyl alcohol were used as the basic fluids. In the study, Taguchi L9 experimental design was used and the optimum nanofluid was determined with the help of Minitab 15 software. In addition, the heat conduction coefficient, viscosity, zeta potential and particle diameters of nanofluidics have been obtained experimentally. As the solid ratios of nanofluidics were increased, their heat conduction coefficients and viscosity increased. The best heat conduction coefficient values were obtained in nanofluidics prepared with SiO2 nanoparticles. The highest viscosity values are obtained in nanofluidics, where pure water and ethylene glycol are the main fluids, while in SiO2-TiO2 hybrid nanofluidics, in nanofluidics prepared with ethyl alcohol, hybrid nanofluidics have the lowest heat conduction coefficient. Nanofluidics prepared with SiO2 nanoparticles have the best zeta potential values in the between -30, -40.
