Abstract (EN)

In this study, opinions of Airline Enterprises related to education of Civil Aviation and Cabin Services in MYO in 2014-2015 working year has been investigated. As a qualitative research approach, an interview form were asked to educators and administrators of five Airlines Enterprises which operates in Istanbul during 2014-2015 education year and obtained data were commented with using qualitative data analysis techniques and themes. Head of Cabin Services, Manager, Chef and Cabin Crew Educator who officials in airline business were identified as Educators and Administrators. The aim of this selection is to evaluate the training program from any position of Civil Aviation and Cabin Services. As a result, educators and administrators marked it that, Civil Aviation and Cabin Services Education program in MYO, is meaningful in introduction of profession of Cabin Attandents and make it more attractive in our country. However, it appears the required level of education do not conform the needs of Airline Enterprises. In addition education of English should be considered and for this reason, Preparation Classes in English should be opened and emphasized.
