Abstract (EN)
The general purpose of this study is to highlight what NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation) leaders understand from the concept of leadership, how they perceive this concept and how these behaviors are perceived by members of the Association. Additionally, how these behaviors differ according to various independent variables; it is also to determine whether there is a meaningful difference between members of the Association in perceiving leadership behaviors of NGO presidents. The universe of this research is civil society organizations. In order to determine whether NGOs have implemented their views on the questions in the questionnaire, a certain sample group was selected through disproportionate element sampling (with neutrality rule) in the study universe. Since it is not possible in the study to reach 2380 non-governmental organizations in Adana for this work, this questionnaire was applied to 55 members and 47 Presidents who worked in the 30 NGOs in total to 102 members of Eastern Mediterranean Civil Society Platform (DASP) which had 87 members.Applied scale type is quintile Likert to determine the views of members and presidents on leadership behavior. SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) package program was used in the analysis of the data. According to research findings indulgence and building up dimensions between the Chairman and members, there were no significant task variable differences according to sex, marital status, educational status, working year.
