Abstract (EN)
This study has been planned to see the effect of kinesiotaping on pain and function for the patients who have scapular dyskinesia.30 scapular dyskinesia patients (11 male, 19 female) whose age range was between 52,70± 12,68 were included in this study. Patients were divided into to groups randomly, study and control grup. Working group were applied suitable kinesiotape technique in addition to classical physiotherapy whereas control group were applied unsuitable kinesiotape technique in addition to classical phsiotherapy. The being of scapular diskinesia was determined by scapular slide test. The patient evaluated in was DASH, VAS, SPADI. Assessments pre-treatment and post-treatment were carried out twice. When pre-treatment and post-treatment groups were compared with in themselves , improvement was observed in both groups in terms of pain, normal range of motion and function (p<0.05). But when the groups were compared, there was no difference between the two groups (p<0.05). When the results obtained without working are considered; it has been concluded that kinesio tapeing, either as a placebo technique or a plesebo technique, improves pain and function in patients with scapular dyskinesia and that the effect of the suittable kinesiotape technique on the placebo effect may be due to the sensory input created by the kinesi band on the patient due to its mechanism of action.
