Abstract (EN)

In this study, the chemical structure of the wood and bark of Willow tree (Salix alba L.), which generally prefer wetlands and which grow naturally in the Lakes Region in Turkey, has been studied. The main components of the cell wall, the solubility values, the amount of lipophilic and hydrophilic substances obtained by extraction of hexane and acetone were investigated on the wood and shell samples of the willow tree and the fatty acid determination and suberin analysis were performed in the bark. Holocellulose ratio in wood and bark were 81,70% and 70,18%, α-cellulose 48,42% and 40,32%, lignin content 24,41% and 33,81%, hot water solubility 13,88% and 43% 88, 1% NaOH solubility 31,26% and 30,72%, hexane solubility 31,26 mg / g and 30,72 mg / g, acetone: water solubility 31,26 mg / g and 30,70 mg / g. The amount of lipophilic substance obtained as a result of hexane extraction and its components were determined as% 25,80 linoleic,% 32,94 N-ethylacetamide in bark, fatty acid determination% 55,71 9,12% octadecadienoic acid in bark. The amount of hydrophilic substance obtained as a result of acetone extraction and its components in the wood% 17.00 2-methyl-4-keto-pentan-2-ol 2%, the bark was determined as 32.24% sucrose.
