Abstract (EN)
Street art, which is not dated back in the history of art, with its destructive and critical attitude spread all over the world in a short time. Street artists, who naturally use the public space, have taken their places in platforms such as galleries, museums and virtual media over time. Street artists' search for new places has led me to find for alternative places. Furthermore, a new approach to street art and public space was aimed. Additionally, it has been desired to bring a different approach to application areas of street art. This has led to the creation of alternative ways and spaces in the account of street art. In this thesis, the history of street art has been investigated and the subject of what the public sphere is in general is emphasized. Throughout the thesis, a general framework has been set to state my opinion about the changes in street art. The works produced within the scope of the thesis are planned to be exhibited in the public space, but due to pandemic conditions, they were moved to limited spaces like rooms. Therefore, the public space experience, which is one of the research topics of the thesis, was experienced in the living area by modeling certain urban spaces or by taking a photo print and making graffiti on it in this period. During the thesis, it has been observed that nothing stays static in the life and everything constantly changes. In this context, it has been seen that in order to use street art techniques, it is not necessary to go only to public spaces and new ways can be produced.
