Abstract (EN)
The constructivism based primary school social studies curriculum prepared by the Ministry of National Education entered into force in 2005. With this constructivism based program, the project-based learning model has also been used. The aim of this research is to determine the opinions and attitudes of teachers about the adequacy of the project-based learning model, which is used as a contemporary learning approach in teaching history and geography subjects in social studies classes at secondary school (5, 6, 7, and 8th) grades, as it exists according to demographic variables and to reveal whether there is a significant difference between teachers' views and attitudes. For this purpose, the research is a screening model prepared with a quantitative method. In accordance with the purpose of the study, the "Teacher Attitude Scale towards Project Work" consisting of 20 questions and the "Student Questionnaire Form Regarding Project-Based Learning Approach" consisting of 30 questions, which were applied in master's thesis studies and whose validity and reliability were obtained, likert type scales were used in accordance with the format of the study. It was applied to 117 social studies teachers who participated from 172 social studies teachers who attended 5-6-7- and 8th grade social studies classes working in schools in the city center of Amasya Province. Questionnaire and view SPSS 26.00 was entered and education, age, year of education, graduate area, etc. Kruskal wallis tests have been trained and the item store application part has been completed.
