Abstract (EN)
The training of qualified teachers has great importance in terms of quality and nature of education. The quality of the opportunities offered to social prospective teachers isn't able to be sufficient in his profession. Motivation against teaching profession of social studies teachers is also important at this point. Having a high level of Social Studies Prospective Teachers' Motivation for Teaching Profession may have positive effects on selfefficacy. The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between social prospective teachers' motivation for teaching profession and social studies prospective teachers' sense of efficacy. This is a descriptive research in relational survey model. The participants of the study are 2193 social studies prospective teachers of 1th 2nd 3th 4th grade at Faculty of Education in Kastamonu University, Marmara University, Balıkesir University , Pamukkale University, Gazi , Abant İzzet Baysal University, Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Ahi Evran University, Kastamonu University, Karadeniz Teknik University, Fırat University, Erzincan University , Adıyaman University in the 20142015 academic years. As a result of the research, there is a moderate positive correlation between social studies prospective teachers' motivation for teaching profession and social studies prospective teachers' sense of efficacy. It has been determined that the perceptions of social studies prospective teachers' motivation for teaching profession are high and agreeing. In general, it has been determined that the and socıal studıes prospective teachers' sense of effıcacy perceptions are "quite sufficient". Socıal studies prospective teachers' motıvation for teachıing profession and social studies prospective teachers' sense of efficacy vary significantly according to grade level. Social studies prospective teachers' motivation for teaching profession and social studies prospective teachers' sense of efficacy are at the highest level in the first grade, but it is the lowest level in the 4th grade.
