Abstract (EN)
This study is limited with the National Library and Turkish Language Society manuscript catalogue and named as ?Variation in Fuzûlî Poems in Terms of Oral and Written Discussions.? This thesis, whose oral and written culture discussions in cönk (special notebook covered with leather used by Turkish poets) and mecmûas is carried through Fuzûlî poems, transforms into an Oral Formula Theory and an interdisciplinary study through 16th century classical literature poet Fuzûlî and it is based on Oral Formula Theory. In this study, after determining poems with Fuzûlî Penname in cönk and mecmûas, comparisons will be made between them and Fuzûlî?s already known poems, and poems that belong to Fuzûlî and do not belong to him will be determined. On the other hand, poems which belong and attributed to Fuzûlî used in minstrel biographies will be a part of this study. Studies such as the kind of contexts that classical literature poem, accepted as a product of written culture product, takes place in cönk and mecmûas as a product of oral culture product are the discussions of this study. With this approach, how does the poem of classical literature become a product of written culture and how does the interaction between oral and written culture occur will be presented. The fact that a significant figure of written culture is imitated (or inspired) in oral literature will be discussed besides the existence of inspirations that occur proper to the rules and opportunities of oral culture. In the study, how do a firm literature tradition, produced with writings and strict poem pattern ?which are mostly unappreciated as they aren?t written with aruz prosody, and so ?don?t have meter?- have changes in folk poetry and how compliance with this tradition ensured is will be discussed. Key Words: Fuzûlî, Cönk and Mecmûa, Oral and Written Culture, Oral Formula Theory, Variation
