Abstract (EN)
Due to increasing demand for energy day by day and the negative impacts of fossil fuels on the environment, more resources and time have been devoted to the development of environmentally friendly sustainable energy resources in recent years. Energy resources produced from wind turbines were the leading sources. The Spar Type Offshore Floating Wind Turbine (S-FOWT) is an important resource for wind power as it has higher wind profiles than onshore wind turbines. Most of the floating wind types installed in the world are constructions fixed to the ground. Spar Type Offshore Floating Wind Turbines (S-FOWT) are an option for wind turbines that cannot be installed due to economic reasons in deeper waters. In this thesis; Hydrodynamic modeling of Spar Type Offshore Floating Wind Turbines (S-FOWT) has been done with HAD software and their efficiency as a result of static equilibrium, free oscillation and regular wave tests have been evaluated comparatively in computer analysis. In this way, the relationship between performance and hydrodynamic modeling was defined and the most superior model was obtained. In the analysis processes, parameters related to mesh structure and operating conditions, which affect the results, were examined and the parameters needed to create a healthy mathematical model were set. According to the criteria determined in the discussion part, the figure and graphic results of the forces occurring on the wind turbine are extracted and analyzed.
