Relation between career planning and job finding anxiety of the students at the faculty of sport sciences

Career planning and the anxiety of finding a job is getting more important fort he university students day by day. It's useful to make a career planning so as to minimize the negative effects of job anxiety. From this viewpoint, the aim of the survey is to analyze the relationship between career planning and job anxiety of the undergraduate students studying at the faculty of sports sciences. Based on this purpose, 337 students in total-200 of them male and 137 of them female-took part in the survey. In the research, personal information form created by researcher and the scale of job finding anxiety and career planning scale of students studying at the sports sciences faculty are used as a data collection tool. It is tested with the skewness and kurtosis test whether the data shows normal distribution or not. "T test" is used fort he variants consisting of two-category and "ANOVA" that is one-way variance analysis, is used fort he variants consisting of three or more categories. Moreover, "Pearson Correlation Test" is applied to find the relationship between career planning and job anxiety. As a result of the research, it has been stated that the students of the faculty have a high level of anxiety about career planning and job finding. On the other hand, it has been determined that the students who are satisfied with the department take a bright view of career planning. It has been understood that the students who attend the trainings/panels organized in the field of career give more importance to career planning than those of not attend. Furthermore, it has been also determined that there is no significant relation between career planning and job finding anxiety.
