Abstract (EN)

Objective: This study was conducted to examine the time management and academic self-efficacy levels of Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Sport Sciences students according to different variables. Material and Methods: The population of the study consists of students from Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Sport Sciences. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 443 students, 203 female and 240 male. The data were collected with "Personal Information Form", "Time Management Questionnaire (TMQ)" and "Academic Self-Efficacy Scale". The data were analyzed using independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Bonferroni multiple comparison test and Pearson correlation analysis. Results: There was a positive and significant relationship between students' time management and academic self-efficacy levels. A statistically significant difference was found between students' time management levels and age, grade level, frequency of exercise, income status and GPA variables. At the same time, there was a significant difference between students' academic self-efficacy levels and the variables of department, grade level and GPA. Conclusion: Research results show that there is a strong relationship between time management and academic self-efficacy and that these two skills develop in parallel. It shows that students' time management and academic self-efficacy levels can be affected by individual characteristics, lifestyle and experiences.
