Abstract (EN)
This This study aims to investigate the relationship between organizational communication and job satisfaction in businesses. To achieve this objective, quantitative research methods, specifically descriptive and correlational survey methods, were utilized to determine the current state of affairs. In this study, the theoretical framework was examined under two main headings. Firstly, beginning with the definition of communication, concepts related to organizational communication, the significance, and purpose of organizational communication, communication channels within organizations, and satisfaction derived from organizational communication were addressed. Secondly, the concept of job satisfaction was elucidated, along with its significance and purpose, factors influencing job satisfaction, and the outcomes of job satisfaction. Lastly, based on the concepts of organizational communication and job satisfaction, the relationship between them was investigated using the "Organizational Communication Scale" and the "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale," and the results of the SPSS analysis were discussed. The research population consisted of coaches and office employees of municipal sports facilities located on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. A simple random sampling method was employed in the study, and the population comprises approximately 500 individuals. Therefore, the sample size consisted of 217 participants. In order to achieve the research objectives, a scale study was conducted with a total of 372 participants. Descriptive and correlational survey methods, two quantitative research methods, were utilized in this study to determine the current state of affairs. All quantitative data obtained were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 25, a statistical data analysis program. The results of the analysis revealed that there is a statistically significant relationship between organizational communication and job satisfaction among personnel working in sports service areas of municipal sports facilities in Istanbul. Additionally, statistically significant relationships were found between job satisfaction and demographic characteristics, as well as between organizational communication and demographic characteristics.
