Examination of HOW organizational cynicim and professional burnout affects physical education teachers'(who work on sports HİGH schools) organizational devotion

The aim of the study is to examine the effects of organizational cynicism and professional burnout of Physical Education and Sports teachers working in Sports High Schools on their organizational commitment. The research was conducted with 461 (four hundred and sixty-one) Physical Education and Sports teachers working in sports high schools throughout Turkey. The general survey relational survey model was used in the study. The research data to be used were prepared in electronic environment and applied to the teachers. Data collection tools of the research are "Personal Information Form", "Organizational Cynicism", "Maslach Burnout Inventory" and "Multidimensional Organizational Commitment in Teachers" scales. In the study, it was determined that the data showed normal distribution and factor analysis was applied to the scales to determine the variables. Correlation analysis was used to determine the relationships between the variables. The effect of the sub-dimensions of organizational cynicism and professional burnout, which are independent variables, on the sub-dimensions of commitment, which is the dependent variable, was tested with multiple linear regression analysis. In the regression analyzes, it was seen that organizational cynicism and professional burnout affect dedication in many sub-dimensions. Since it was seen that the demographic variables were normally distributed in the study, the T-test was used for the variables with two groups and the anova test for the variables with more than two groups. In the study, no significant difference was found in organizational cynicism, professional burnout and organizational commitment among the variables of gender, age, income status, professional seniority, working time at sports high school, type of sports high school, and academic competence of students. Significant differences were found in the sub-dimensions of organizational cynicism, professional burnout and organizational commitment in the variables of the region of work, marital status, education level and physical competence.
