Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of FIFA 11+ children's warm-up program on selected motor parameters applied to children receiving football training in sports schools. A total of 22 volunteer children, including the experimental group (11) and the control group (11), participated in the study. In addition to height, body weight, BMI (kg/m2) measurements, sit-lie flexibility, flamingo balance, agility, 30 m sprint and leg strength tests were applied to evaluate motor skills. The experimental group received a 15-20 minute FİFA 11+ children's warm-up program 2 days a week for 6 weeks, while the control group continued their own training. Before starting the program, pre-tests of the experimental and control groups were taken and post-tests were taken 6 weeks later and statistical analyses were made in the SPSS package program. Shapiro-Wilk test was applied to determine the normality distribution of the data obtained in the study. Since the data were normally distributed, t-test in independent groups, one of the parametric tests, and t-test in dependent groups were applied for intra-group comparison. According to the findings of the study, it was determined that there was no statistically significant difference between the pre-post test values of sit-lie flexibility, flamingo balance, agility, 30 m sprint and leg strength of the participants in the experimental group and the control group. In addition, it was determined that there was a statistically significant difference in flamingo balance and 30 m sprint parameters in the in-group pre-post test comparisons of the children in the experimental group, while no statistically significant difference was found in leg strength, agility and flexibility parameters. There was no statistically significant difference in the selected motor parameters in the pre-post test comparisons of the control group in the study. As a result, even though there was no statistically significant difference in the pre and post test values of leg strength, balance, agility, flexibility and 30 m sprint of the children in the experimental group, when the averages were examined, it was concluded that the FIFA 11+ children's warm-up program applied to children aged 11-13 years contributed positively to some motor parameters.
