The relationship between perfectional detection and career planning attitudes in the sport organization (sports i̇stanbul sample)

The aim of this study is to evaluate the relationship between the perfectionism perception of sports organization employees and their career planning attitudes. Relational screening method and causal comparison method were used in line with the determined purpose. Using the questionnaire technique as a data collection method, face-to-face and online data were collected on a voluntary basis. The universe of the research consists of the employees of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Istanbul Sports Events and Management Ticaret AŞ (Spor Istanbul). The sample of the study was determined by simple random sampling method and 657 Spor İstanbul AŞ employees constitute the sample of the study. Personal information form, Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale-H and Career Planning Scale were used as data collection tools. The analysis of the data obtained from the research was made in IBM SPSS 25.0 program. Personal information, inventory averages and factor scores of the participants are given by determining the frequency (f) and percentage (%) values. In order to determine the reliability levels of the scales and their sub-dimensions, reliability analysis was performed and the "Chronbach Alpha Coefficient" was obtained. As a statistical process, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis-H Test and Spearman Correlation analyzes were used to test the hypotheses created for the purpose of the research. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the perfectionism and career planning levels of the participants were at a high level. In general, weak and moderate positive relationships are observed between the perfectionism level of the participants and their career planning attitudes. In other words, as the perfectionism level of sports service business employees is improved, career planning attitudes will also develop in the same direction. In addition, the relationship between the self-oriented perfectionism of the participants and the dimensions of career planning, self-evaluation and goal setting, the relationship between the dimensions of perfectionism towards others and career planning opportunities, and the relationship between perfectionism imposed by the society and career planning, goal setting dimensions are remarkable. There is a significant difference in the level of perfectionism according to the gender of the participants, perfectionism for others in all sub-dimensions, perfectionism according to their ages, perfectionism for themselves according to their educational status, in-house status, professional experience and in-service training, in the dimensions of perfectionism for self and others. determined. Career planning attitudes of the participants according to their gender and educational status, in the dimension of self-assessment, in the dimensions of recognizing opportunities according to their ages, in the dimensions of goal setting and planning, in the dimensions of self-assessment according to their status, recognizing opportunities and goal setting, self-evaluation according to professional experience variable, recognizing opportunities and creating plans It was determined that there is a significant difference in all sub-dimensions of career planning attitudes according to in-service training status. As a result of the research, institutions such as a consultant, expert, etc. It was suggested that they get support from a person and guide their employees towards career planning. Thus, it is predicted that the perfectionism level of the employees will be increased and the quality of the service provided will increase.
