Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to examine the impact of career management levels of employees in provincial directorates of youth sports services on their quality of work life. To achieve this goal, a sample of 300 participants was formed, including 200 males and 100 females. The relational survey model was preferred for the research. The data collection tools used in the analysis included a personal information form prepared by the researcher for determining demographic characteristics, a 30-item "Career Management Scale" developed by Eroğlu, Yavuz Eroğlu, and Karakuş (2021), and a 23-item "Work Life Quality Scale" adapted into Turkish by Üstüner and Akar (2017), originally developed by Van Laar, Edwards, and Easton (2007). SPSS 22 software package was used for data interpretation, and for the evaluation, descriptive statistical methods such as numbers, percentages, means, and standard deviations were employed. T-tests were used for comparing quantitative continuous data between two independent groups, while one-way ANOVA test was applied for comparing quantitative continuous data among more than two independent groups. Cohen's d analysis was used to determine differences after the T-test and the Post-Hoc Turkey test was employed to identify differences after the one-way ANOVA test. Additionally, Pearson's product-moment correlation analysis was conducted to determine the relationships between variables. As a result of these analyses, it was determined that there were no significant differences between career management and gender, marital status, field of graduation, years of experience, and work location variables. Consequently, significant differences were found between the field of graduation and work location variables and individual careers. However, no significant differences were found between work-life quality and gender, marital status, field of graduation, years of experience, and work location variables. When examining the relationship between career management and work-life quality, it was found that there were moderate, positive, and significant relationships between both career management sub-dimensions and total scores, and work-life quality sub-dimensions and total scores. Based on the research findings, some recommendations for solutions have been developed. Key Words: Youth Sports, Career Management, Work Life Quality
