Investigation of the informatics leadership and technostres levels of personnel working in sports management and administration

The aim of this study is to examine the IT leadership perception and technostress levels of personnel working at various levels in sports management and management. A total of 387 personnel, 191 men and 196 women, actively working in the Provincial and District Directorates of Youth and Sports in Mersin province, participated in the research on a voluntary basis. "Information Leadership Scale", "Technostress Scale" and "Personal Information Form" will be used to collect data in the research. Descriptive statistics (arithmetic mean, frequency, standard deviation) were used as statistical methods in the analysis of the data. As a result of the normality test, it was seen that the data was normally distributed; Pearson correlation analysis was applied to determine whether there is a relationship between IT leadership perceptions and technostress levels. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to determine whether there was a difference between IT leadership perceptions and technostress levels and categorical variables containing three or more groups such as age, years of experience, and educational status. Tukey test was used after analysis of variance. Independent groups t test was used to determine whether there was a difference between IT leadership perceptions and technostress levels and the gender categorical variable. As a result of the research; It was found that the participants' technostress and IT leadership perception levels were at medium levels. A very low, positive and statistically significant relationship was found between the participants' technostress levels and their IT leadership perception levels. It was determined that the technostress level of the participants over the age of 40 was significantly higher than the participants in other age groups, and in the IT leadership perception dimension, the perception of the 26-39 age group differed significantly compared to the participants in other age groups. It was found that male participants' technostress levels were significantly higher than female participants only in the "Techno-Complexity" and "Techno-Insecurity" subscales. In the "Techno-Invasion" sub-dimension, it was determined that the technostress level of participants with 12 years or more of seniority was significantly higher than the participants in other seniority groups. It was determined that the technostress levels of the participants with a master's degree were significantly higher than the other participants, and in the IT leadership perception dimension, the participants with a primary education level were significantly higher than the other participants.
