Abstract (EN)

Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) with high levels of protein is an important dietary for people with limited consumption of animal products. This research was carried out to determine some chickpea genotypes in Şırnak-Cizre conditions. The research was conducted with 13 chickpea genotypes, according to the randomized block experiment design with 3 replications, in the Cizre district of Şırnak province, 2022-2023 winter growth period. As a result of the research, there are statistically significant differences between the investigated genotypes in terms of yield and yield-related characteristics. Although it varies according to genotypes; the number of days to flowering, the number of plants per square meter, plant height, first pod height, number of branches per plant, total pods number per plant, the number of empty pods per plant, the number of full pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, seed weight per plant, seed yield, 100 seed weight and harvest index values varied between 105.0-118.5 days; 5.50-20.50; 43.93-52.40 cm; 24.60-36.20 cm; 6.13-11.40; 10.67-26.73; 1.50-5.73; 8.67-25.80; 9.30-25.50; 2.73-7.47 g; 26.76-131.32 kg/da; 28.58-37.17 g and the 22.11-29.55%. As a result of the research, 6B17, 6B27 and 6B110 chickpea genotypes can be considered as promising lines for future breeding research in terms of their yield and yield-related characteristics.
