A study on investigating the protected regions in Mugla city in the context of protection statüs

In the present study, the protected regions in Mugla City were investigated in the context of their protection status. In this context, their protection status in terms of national and international regulations and their current landscape values were addressed. Protection management plans of the protected regions at the national and international level were reviewed and their protection status in research area were evaluated in the context of environmental regulations in our country, and available sources were observed in the field. In context of protecting the values of study areas with a variety of diversities in terms of values of natural and cultural sources, the present master thesis consists of two parts: one being regarded to the regions protected with a variety of organizations and statuses, and the other in which quality of these regions was reviewed.
