Abstract (EN)

To see whether pregnant women who are anemic for Hepcidin hormone and the research group's general characteristics correlate. The age of anemic pregnant patients (26.95.3) and controls (25.334.19) was similar. The levels of hepcidin hormone differed greatly between patients and controls. The TIBC of a patient is compared to a reference range to identify iron deficiency. These new findings help differentiate between iron deficiency anemia and other microcytic anemias. Statistically significant differences in ferrtin levels between patients and controls are P-values less than 0.001. A woman's anemia is unrelated to her pregnancy anemia. comparing anemic patients to a healthy control group on a hematological parameter This was shown to be different between patients and controls. There was a significant difference in HCT Hb MCV MCH and RDW between control, anemic, pregnant and non-pregnant women. In the current study, hepcidin correlated with iron, TIBC, and ferritin. A strong association was seen between hepcidin and TIBC (r=0.443, P=0.001) and iron (r=0.491, P=0.001). While there is a positive link between Hepcidin and Hb, RBC, MCV, and MCH, there is a negative correlation with RDW (r=0.567, P=0.001).
