Abstract (EN)

Nanofluids have been an innovative field that has attracted great attention in materials science and industry in recent years. Nanofluids have significant potential in energy transfer, cooling systems and industrial applications due to their properties such as thermal conductivity and viscosity. Researchers continue to work for more effective and efficient applications by improving the properties of nanofluids. In this study, nanofluids were prepared with pure water by selecting Al2O3, ZnO and Al2O3+ZnO nanoparticles as the base fluid. Experimental investigations of the physical properties of nanofluids such as viscosity, density and thermal conductivity were carried out. In studies with nanofluids, they were prepared in volumetric ratios of 0.1%, 0.5% and 1% with the two-step method, which is generally preferred, and Tianol F40 and NP10 were used as surfactants to prevent precipitation. Al2O3/water nanofluid using Tianol F40 surfactant showed high physical properties in terms of thermal conductivity. It was observed that the viscosity properties of all nanofluids prepared in the study increased with decreasing temperature. In addition, it shows the hope that nanofluids can be used in many application areas in the near future due to their high physical properties.
