Abstract (EN)

My thesis which is titled as ?Water Soluble Metal Salts? consists of five chapters.First chapter gives a definition and brief history of porcelain and also technical and chemical features of it. Also other basic formation stages like shaping, decorating and firing processes are mentioned.Second chapter includes results of our research on water soluble metal salts, colourants and effects of these substances on each other and porcelain. Main source for this chapter is the referenced book of Professor Arne Ase, ?Watercolour on Porcelain?. Moreover, artists who worked on the subject and their artworks are listed in this chapter.Third chapter mentions techniques used for applying solutions prepared by these colourants on porcelain body, and contributory materials during application. In the fourth and fifth chapters, one could read about all my experimental works, and how these works are affected by the practices described in preceding chapters.?
