Abstract (EN)

Since the introduction of our lives, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have been used for a variety of purposes in a variety of professions such as agriculture, forestry, industry, and mining. Their superiority, such as high resolution, frequent measurement range, and relatively low cost compared to other remote sensing technologies, increase their chances of being used in agricultural areas. In this study, the use of UAVs in the monitoring of crop production in Temrezli irrigation scheme was investigated. During the study, a six-wing UAV used for imaging of irrigation scheme. The plant pattern was determined as 47 % wheat, 36.6 % sunflower, 6.9 % paddy, 3.7 % forage plant, 1.5 % corn and 0.3 % vegetable and watermelon. In order to determine the irrigated parcels and leakage losses, it was found out that the thermal images were more effective then multispectral images. It was determined that at least 6-7 degrees of temperature drops were measured in bare soil and plant surface temperature values with irrigation. At the end of the study, it was determined that high resolution UAV images could be effective in determining the irrigated parcels and canal leakage losses
