Abstract (EN)

In this study, the ankle-brachial artery index (ABI) measurements and complaints of patients who were admitted to the hospital with symptoms of acute critical leg ischemia and who were diagnosed with peripheral artery disease in the examinations and who had undergone endovascular intervention to the superficial femoral artery were evaluated. As a result of the evaluation, it was aimed to determine the effectiveness of the endovascular treatment methods in providing and maintaining the superficial femoral artery patency. Demographic risk factors of the patients; age, gender, chronic renal failure (CRF), coronary artery disease (CAD), diabetes mellitus (DM), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), hypertension (HT), cerebrovascular disease (CVD), hyperlipidemia (HL), smoking The medications he used, pain and walking distances were questioned, laboratory tests were performed. . The ankle-brachial artery index measurements were evaluated at 3-month intervals (1st measurement, 2nd measurement, 3rd measurement) of the patients who were followed-up for 6 months. As a result of the evaluation of the ankle-brachial artery index measurements of 62 patients participating in the study, it was found that the efficacy of endovascular treatment attempts to maintain and maintain the superficial femoral artery patency was the same, and there was no significant difference between them. In addition to the ankle-brachial artery index, evaluation of the data obtained from the complaints of pain, walking distance and amputation also supports that there is no difference between endovascular treatment interventions. At the end of the study, it was concluded that the endovascular treatment interventions to be applied to the superficial femoral artery in patients diagnosed with peripheral artery disease are equivalent, and as a result of the evaluation of the patient by the physician, the most appropriate endovascular intervention can be decided and appliedimmediately.
