Abstract (EN)
Since the beginning of the 21st century, ecological problems have been described as the most important problems of the humanity and surely will effect the life quality of the next generations. To solve the ecological problems which are being sourced by both human and industrial activities, authors from every branches of the economics and business sciences are trying to develop optimum approaches to fill the unsustainable blanks in classical economic development philisophy with green. At this point green marketing is taking a critical role to create a sustainable development framework. Many of the articles assign that, marketing science is one of the most important elements to create sustainable relationship between ecology and industry, and also among the people of the world.This study focuses primarily green marketing philosophy and green transpotation as an important part of sustainable development and secondarily focuses railways as an instrument of green transportation.The Grant?s Green Marketing Manifesto is discussed in the third part of the study and finally the data of the marketing survey included the comments of railway passengers of Adana-Mersin line are both analysed and evaluated. As a result the Grant?s green marketing grid is filled by using the passenger comments for the aim of creating a green regional passenger transportation model between two cities.Keywords: Sustainable marketing, green marketing, green transportation, sustainable transportation, railway transportation,
