Abstract (EN)

Depending on the migration of Syrians towards Turkey because of the civil war which outbreak in 2011, general opinion that includes numerous negativity has occurred as a result of the belief that chaotic situations will occur on social, economic, political areas etc. But do these dynamics that discussed through chaos, generate new "opportunities"? Do economic, political and social dynamics give rise to new patterns in this perspective? Therefore, monitoring of migrants seems imperative for the system to make "healthy analyses", to make the necessary regulations in the process and to produce alternatives for new formations about the phenomenon. So the content of the answers to these questions is important for understanding the process itself. (Hal böyle olunca) This study examines how urban sprawl that emerges due to Syrian immigration reveals the status layers; also depending on this how the pattern of the city and urban life transform. The main purpose of this study is to analyse sprawls of the cities -due to Syrian migration- as status layers and to examine how urban life is re-patterned.
