Examination of spors participation motivations of athletes engagaed in team and individual sports

The aim of this research occurs with the what cause the behaviour basıc problem of motıvatıon .With this question we btrıed to find an answer to how behavıour begin, how ıt continue , how it change and impossible results.Study was done in order to help the academic who interesred in sport motıvatıon.189 man and 247 man 436 volunteer studenets (random selected) constıtue the research area.due to Yozgat condıtıons ıt was trıed to reach the athletes engagaed in wrestling, Handball, taekwondo, boxing,archery,gymnastics,voleyball, basketball, football etc.In this research, as a data collection tool ; ''Spora Özgü Başarı Motivasyon Ölçeği'' develeoped by Willis (1982) reliabilty and validity study was done by Tiryaki and Gödelek was used.In analyızıng the data statistics, packet program IBM SPSS 22 was used.First the distribution of the data was examined and normally distributed.Therefore parametric tests were used. In order to determine ;whether the partıcıpants motivation differs according to gender, sports branch, presence of any family member engaged in sports ''T'' test was used.In order to determine whether the participants motıvatıon differs according to age, experıence years, parents educatıon level/ job and famıly ıncome level, ANOVA test used.As a result of this research it is detected that motivation of sports participation has various statistical differences.
