Tarık Buğra human and work

In our studying, considering the stories and novels of Tank Bugra, who lived between 1918 andl994, we tried to introduce place of him in literature. This study which consists of four parts, has mainly a monographic quality and in its first part introductory information about the life, literary personality and the works of Tank Bugra is given. In the second part, by evaluating the stories in terms of structure and theme, narrating aspect of the author and principal subjects which his emphasized are tried to determine. In the third part by examining the structural elements and themes of novels of the author, texts are analyzed according to the modern analysis methods. Trace of the idea world of the author are determined according to the main themes of the novels. In the fourt part, it is tried to display the usage style of language of Tank Bugra and characteristic of his fashion. According to word power, sentence structures and variations, expression style of the author are assessed by examples. In the conclusion part, the results of the study are summarized in general. A wide- ranging bibliography along with the general resources is added at the end of the study. Key Words: Tank Bugra, structure, theme, analysis.
