Abstract (EN)
Mehmed Tevfîk, who lived in the 19th century and was known as Cûdîzâde, is a poet-author that had worked in various civil services. The fact that there is not enough information about his life and work in the literary resources shows that he did not draw much attention during his life time. Cûdîzâde focused heavily on religious matters in his work. There are these four works of his: Nevber, Menâsim-i 'Aşk, Saadetli Familya ve Nuhbetü'l-Hakîka fî Îcâbati'l-İnsâniyye. It can be understood from his work that he had received Arabic and Persian language education, and penned his poetry in the classical poetry forms. In Cûdîzâde's works Nevber and Menâsim-i 'Aşk, which are subject to this study, there are poetry dealing completely with religious matters in the former, and there are several other subjects along with religious matters in the latter. In this study, these two afore-mentioned works were transcribed and were analyzed in terms of their structure and content. The facsimiles of the works are given at the end of the study.
