Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted between June 16 and September 13. In this study, the effects of vitamin A added to the freshwater crayfish (Pontastacus leptodactylus) ration at different rates on oxidative stress (malondialdehyde (MDA)), some enzymes (superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase ((GSH-Px) and glutathione (GSH)) in tissues were investigated. For this purpose, a control ration (K) and three trial rations (A1, A2, A3) were prepared according to the needs of the crayfish. 100 mg/kg, 200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg vitamin A (VA) were added to the control ration to form A1, A2 and A3 rations, respectively. Each trial was carried out in three replicates. Male crayfish were used in the study. In addition, a negative control group (NEK) was created at the beginning of the study. At the end of the study, the hepatopancreas, gills, gonads and muscle tissues of the crayfish in each trial group were analyzed. As a result, it was observed that the addition of vitamin A at different rates to freshwater crayfish ration (Control (K), experimental group 1 (A1), experimental group 2 (A2), experimental group 3 (A3)) was quite effective on MDA, SOD, GSH-Px and GSH levels during the period when gonad and shell development of freshwater crayfish (P. leptodactylus) was observed. No change was observed in oxidative stress, SOD, GSH-Px and GSH levels in muscle tissue. It was determined that MDA values increased in the K group compared to the NEK group in hepatopancreas, gonad and gill tissues. It was determined that MDA values in these tissues decreased statistically significantly compared to the K group. Changes were detected in SOD, GSH-Px and GSH levels according to tissue characteristics in all three tissues.
