Abstract (EN)
Managers need information in order to make right decisions.Information has the effect of reducing or completely eliminatinguncertainty in the process of decision making. This effect motivesmanagers to act in order to take a decision. Companies achieve targetsand objectives by successful decisions. In this thesis locomotivemaintenance and fuel consumption information system is modeled.This model generates reports on the real time information of thelocomotives as well as maintenance histories, fuel consumptions etc. Inorder to support managers in different levels making them able tocontrol resources effectively and developing solutions after diagnosingthe drawbacks.Key Words : Information System Modeling, IT, MIS
