Abstract (EN)

Hepatitis, which is an inflammation of the liver, is a huge hazard to public health that affects several hundred million people all over the world. The most important cause of hepatitis is caused by viruses, which are also the main source of infectious diseases. They can manifest themselves in either an acute or chronic form, both of which are associated with a significant increase in the risk of morbidity and death, such as chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, and hepatocellular cancer. The hepatitis strains A, B, and C are the primary subjects of this investigation. Comparing the different varieties of hepatitis can be helpful when attempting to ascertain the prevalence rate of the illness across different vocations, as well as which type is the most impacted, and which type of sex is most prone to infection. The participants in the study were all Iraqi and ranged in age from 1 to 80 years old. There was a total of 300 participants in the study.(74) housewives, (41) patients work in the healthcare system, (59) employees, (2) children, (67) students, (16) retired and (41) earners. The patients were selected from the patients who came to the Nineveh Health Department (Tal-Afar general hospital) in Iraq. It has been established that the most susceptible age range for contracting hepatitis is between the ages of 21 and 40. And among all of the occupations, the risk of type C infection was greatest in those who stayed at home as housewives. The infection rate among males is significantly higher than that of females. In this research The HBV was shown to be the predominant characteristic of infections in the student group. For the Earner group, they are the career path that had the greatest reported incidence of HAV infections. The prevalence of HCV in females is significantly higher than in males. The risk factor associated with the type of hepatitis identified a significant infection with HBV with a score of 2.5, while HAV scored the lowest with 1.23. In conclusion, the following is: It's possible that improper personal cleanliness and a lack of understanding about health are the primary factors behind the rise in the number of most hepatitis cases.
