Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to explain the Science questions asked in the TEOG and LGS exams used in the transition to secondary education in our country and the shared sample science questions under the International Student Assessment Program (PISA) implemented with the participation of member countries by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). 's two - dimensional structure according to the analysis. In this study, document analysis method was used from qualitative methods. In this context, 20 Science questions asked in TEOG exam applied in 2016-2017, 20 Science questions asked in LGS exam applied in 2017-2018, and sample 95 Science published by OECD in 2015 were analyzed by academician in program development and expert science teacher according to YBT. The last version of the classification is given by taking expert opinion. According to findings, it is seen that science questions asked in TEOG exam commonly exist in conceptual step (%75) in view of information dimension and comprehension step (%65) in view of cognitive process dimension of YBT. It is clear that science question of LGS and PISA exams commonly exist in conceptual information step according to information dimension of YBT and according to cognitive process dimension they exist in analysis, evaluation and creation steps which are accepted as higher-up cognitive steps. In research, science questions asked in TEOG exam generally belong to comprehension step of conceptual information and the questions which require higher-up cognitive skills rarely take part in exam. LGS and PISA questions are similar to ecah other in view of measuring both higher-up and sublevel skills. Thus in future, science questions which will be asked in central exams can be distributed equally to Renewed Bloom Taxonomy and also open ended questions may take part in exams to measure more higher-up cognitive skills. Keywords: TEOG exam questions, LGS science questions, PISA science questions, Renewed Bloom Taxonomy.
