Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to form optimization models to minimize the labor and the energy costs for the finishing and drying processes that are applied to weaven fabrics at finishing machines in finishing mill. While minimizing the costs of finishing and the drying processes, the process parameters are tried to be optimized, to keep the humidity of the fabric which is an important process output, between the target values. Further to this, an experimental design and regression models are evolved for the input parameters which are effective for the humidity value of the fabric. For this purpose, the input and the output values are measured and fettered for both processes for the similar fabrics wich are produced at the finishing machines of BOSSA T.A.Ş. fabric mills. By applying the statistical analysis for the gained data, input parameters are determined that are effective on the humidity of the fabric and mathematical equations are displayed. After, a cost minimization model is formed for both of the processes that these equations are used as constraint and the cost statement is accepted as objective function. The optimum results for the formed mathematical model are determined by using an optimization sofware and the results are examined.
