Terceme-i Kıyâfet-nâme-i Tartûşî (Text-review-indeks)

In this study, the manuscript named "Terceme-i Kıyâfet-nâme-i Tartuşi" was examined. In the study, which consists of three chapters, an attempt was made to collect information about kıyâfet-nâme and kef-nâme in general terms, and a text analysis was made on a sample work. In the first chapter, the definition of kıyâfetnâme, its historical development and the main works written until today are presented. In addition, the definition and historical development of kef-nâme, which is mostly not seen as an independent work but is always described as a substitute for other works, has been discussed, albeit with limited resources. In the second chapter, the general characteristics of the manuscript and the work were mentioned, and the content of the transcribed work was examined. While analyzing the content, the author's classification was mostly adhered to, but the headings that were wanted to be examined were also opened. It can be said that this chapter is a kind of transfer of the work into today's Turkish. In the third chapter, the transcribed text and the original text of the work are presented. The aim of the study is to reveal the historical background of kıyâfet-nâme and kef-nâme, which is often studied as a subtitle of it, and to bring to light an unexamined manuscript.
