Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of geothermal resource development studies in the thesis field, 13 production and 1 reinjection wells were opened. Specific electrical conductivity (SEC) values of the waters are between 1.124-2.390 μS/cm. Dominant ions are generally Na and HCO3. Aquifer units in the study area are Paleozoic marbles, Eocene basal conglomerates, Neogene conglomerates and alluvium. Although schists do not show primary porosity, quartzite and calcschist levels are locally broken and cracked and have gained secondary porosity. The waters have not completed the water-rock relationship and are immature. T-4, T-10, T-11 and geothermal wastewaters are crustal, heat exchanger outlet water is corrosive, and all other waters are both crustal and corrosive. Production flow rate is 226.1 L/min with reinjection condition. In the monitoring experiment the tracer reached the observation wells with a turbulent flow in 6.7 days. When 90 L/s of water used for heating was reinjected, the production wells were positively affected. A protection area was determined for the physical and chemical protection and sustainable use of hot water. Sustainable use possibilities were evaluated in terms of quality by determining the appropriate operating flow rate, preventing waste and quantity with reinjection, and by determining appropriate usage patterns and protection areas.
