Having a detailed observation of the trade-busines school students tendency of violence [İstanbul Anotolian side example

In this study, attitudes of students against violence have been scrutinized and evaluated multi-dimensionally in Anatolian Vocational Schools for Trade and Vocational Schools for Trade. In theoretical part, it has been given information about problematic situation that gives its basis to the research, problem sentence, importance of research, premises, restrictions, conceptual information regarding to the terms used in the study. In addition to this, the related literature is examined, different definitions of violence are given, underlying results of violence are discussed and school and violence relationship is assessed.In practicing part, research model, population and sampling, data acquisition instruments, data collection and data analysis have taken place. The study universe took place in Anatolian Vocational Schools for Trade on Anatolian side in Istanbul province , the research population consisted of 270 students(male 124, female 146) who were chosen with simple random sampling method for the study from Anatolian Vocational Schools for Trade. A generated questionnaire, developed by Equilibrium Research Center, was used by a researcher to the students in sample group.As a result of comparing answers of the students and different articles of violence scale in the study; it has been understood that meaningfully variation in perception of explicit violence by girls and boys and more adaptation to explicit violence by girls than boys; although some are tried to be given damage, considering the other students, how they show less attendance to explicit violence; more perception of explicit violence of the ones unharmed outside the school than the harmed.Key words: Violence, Vocational School for Trade
