Synthesis, lighting of structures and dft studies of schiffbases generated from sulfonamide drugs with commercialuse

The resistance of bacteria to classical sulfonamides led to the need for different sulfonamide derivatives with antimicrobial activity. Two new sulfonamide ligands with antimicrobial activity were synthesized in this study. Afterwards, conformational analysis of these compounds was performed with DFT calculations and their lowest energy conformation was found and their structures were optimized. Various electronic properties of the obtained stable structures, NMR chemical shift values and IR vibration frequencies were calculated and compared with experimental results. Electronic properties were calculated to determine whether or not to be a drug.
