Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, PVD TiN / TiAlN coated Sverker 21 and nitriding, PVD TiAlN coated Toolox 44 materials were investigated ball - on - disc wear tester under the dry friction working conditions. The gas nitriding process for Toolox 44 samples of material, a temperature of 350 o C for 30 minutes with nitrogen gas, after heating at a temperature of 240 o C to 570 minutes with the vacuum then nitrogen, ammonia and carbon dioxide in the presence of nitrogen in the furnace after being cooled with and ends with. The heat treatment operation for Sverker 21 samples of material, heat treatment operation, 1030 o C degrees is heated, after waiting 35 minutes austenitizing temperature, 4 bar nitrogen given were subjected to rapid cooling. Sverker 21 samples of material quenching tempering stage was then twice. The first degree of tempering 510 ° C for 3 hours in standby and 3 hours with a standby of 550 o C was the second tempering. The first tempering output is hardness of 61 HRC and second one tempering output is hardness of 57 HRC. Cathodic arc method of coating process, the value of - 50 V and 300 A cathode current for TiAlN. The value of - 75 V and 300 A cathode current for TiN/TiAlN. After that, the temparatures coolod by cold water pipes in the oven of coating process with the help. Normal load was used as a variable parameter. Wear quantity of the samples were determined by surface roughness measuring device. Normal load - the amount of wear and normal load - the coefficient of friction graphs were plotted. 6 mm diameter ceramic balls were used as abrasive element. Key Words : PVD, Nitriding, Wear, Ball ? on ? Disc
