Abstract (EN)

Many endocrine pathologies can disrupt normal ovarian function and cause infertility. When evaluating infertile women, organic and functional (endocrinological) pathologies should be considered together and act accordingly. In this study, it is aimed to determine epidemiologically the frequency of endocrine problems leading to anovulation and ovarian dysfunction in infertile women who applied to our infertility outpatient clinic. Experimental data were obtained from Dhi Qar Governorate hospitals: Al-Shatrah General Hospital, Al-Hussein Training Hospital and Bint Al-Huda Hospital. ST3, sT4, TSH, FSH, LH, E2 Serum levels were evaluated as prolactin, free testosterone, 17-OH progesterone, 96 patients anti-thyroglobulin, 96 patients anti-thyroid peroxidase (anti microsomal antibody). Serum free T3-T4 levels are in the normal range and TSH levels The percentage of high cases was 25.54% and these cases were subclinical hypothyroidism. He determined his prevalence. Compared to other studies, our study high prevalence value was obtained. (The most important reason for this is the subclinical of TSH. the threshold value for the diagnosis of hypothyroidism is accepted as 2.5 mIU / L today and we also use this value) TSH levels of 1.26% threshold value he remained under. When serum levels of sT3 and sT4 are examined, the proportion was 6.4% and 5.29%, respectively; the proportion of those below the threshold is It was 0.56% and 0%. When the anti-thyroglobulin and anti-thyroid peroxidase (anti-microsomal antibody, anti-TPO) serum levels of thyroid auto antibodies were evaluated, they were found to be above the threshold value of 20.76% and 19.18%, respectively. FSH serum levels were above 12.9%, below the threshold of 4.05%. In contrast, LH serum levels were found above 5.6% threshold and below 5.98% threshold. Hyperprolactinemia was present in 7.8% of cases. Hypoprolactinemia was 1.25%. Free testosterone serum level was found to be above the threshold value of 6.25%. The level of 17-OH progesterone was above the threshold value of 12.4% and below the threshold value of 0.68%. Weak negative correlation between E2 and age and anti-thyroglobulin, weak positive between 17-OH progesterone and moderately positive correlation between free testosterone. A significant relationship was found between the evaluation categories related to Kruskal-Wallis analysis analysis and related hormones. It was determined that FSH serum level increased with age and 17-OH progesterone levels decreased with age. When the correlation is examined; A moderately positive correlation was noted between age and FSH, weak positive, 17-OH strong positive, anti-thyroglobulin and anti-microsomal antibody and free testosterone. Infertility problems in women are often associated with ovarian dysfunction and infertility. The endocrine system interacts with fertility and continuity. As a result, the use of which endocrine pathology caused more frequent infertility or has nothing to do with infertility before.
