The second chapter includes three theories; Psychoanalytic Criticism, Feminist Criticism and Lesbian/ Gay Criticism which are effected from one another. Psychoanalytic Criticism is applied on A Streetcar named Desire by Tennessee Williams, Feminist Criticism is applied on Open Couple by Dario Fo and Lesbian/ Gay Criticism is applied on Breaking The Code by Hugh Whitemore. The last chapter includes Marxist Criticism, and the newest theories New-Historicism and Cultural Materialism.
