Abstract (EN)
In this study, thio Schiff bases, N,N ? -bis(2-hydroxi-1-naphtaldehyde)-1,4-bis(2-amino phenylthio)ethane (L1) and N,N ? -bis(2-hydroxi-1-naphtaldehyde)-1,4-bis(2-amino phenylthio)butane (L2) were synthesized. Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Pd(II) complexes of these Schiff base ligands were prepared. The structures of ligands and their complexes were determined by 1H NMR, IR, Uv-vis., Elemental Analyses, Magnetic Susseptibility, Conductance Measurements and Mass Spectroscopy.Firstly, the catalytic properties of L1 and L2 was researched by Suzuki Coupling reactions. Therefore the ligands were heated up with Pd(AcO)2, aryl bromide and boronic acid. At the end of the process, the product was extracted by ethyl acetate and the yield was calculated.Secondly, the electrochemical behaviors of L1, L2 and L1-Cu were investigated by the cylic voltammetry technique. The cyclic voltammograms of the compounds were measured in the potential range 1.10?1.50 V (versus Ag/AgCl (3,5 M KCl) and for scan rates of 0.025?0.50 Vs-1 in DMSO solution containing 0.1 M TBAP supporting electrolyte. Platinium disk and platinium fiber were used as a supporting electrode and assistant electrode. The nitrogen gas was put into solutions before the measurements to eliminate from the oxygen. The obtained datas were shown by graphs. Finally, there were investigated the electrical parameters of L1, L2 and their Palladium(II), Nickel(II) and Cobalt(II) complexes which were prepared by diot formation with these processes such deep coating, sputtering and ohmic contact constitution. Keywords: Thio Schiff base and its Complexes, Suzuki Coupling Reactions, Cyclic Voltammetry, Schottky Diots, Ohmic Contact
