Abstract (EN)
6-Thia-1,4-diaza-naphtacen-11-one?un (TX-Q) and 2,3-Dimethyl-6-thia-1,4-diazanaphthacen- 11-one (TX-DMQ) were synthesized as a novel photoinitiator and were characterized. Photoinitiated bulk polymerization of MMA in the presence of TX-Q and TXDMQ were also carried out in the presence and absence of NMDEA by using of a photoreactor. Additional experiments were carried out under nitrogen atmosphere. Polymerization conversion and temperatures of acrylates (EA+TPGDA and TMPTA) as multifunctional acrylates were performed by using Photo-DSC. Photolysis of this two novel photoinitiators were performed and their photobleaching were observed. Keywords: Photoinitiator, free radical polymerization, 6-Thia-1,4-diaza-naphtacen-11-one (TX-Q), 2,3-Dimethyl-6-thia-1,4-diaza-naphthacen-11-one (TX-DMQ), monomer, acrylate.
