Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the novels of Ihsan Oktay Anar who is the late popular writer in the light of fantastic theory created by Tzvetan Todorov who is the structuralist critic theorists. In the study, firstly the fantastic theory drawn in the book titled The Fantastic: A Structural Approach to a Literary Genre by Tzvetan Todorov was analyzed and the terms used here are schematized. In the next stage, all seven novels of Ihsan Oktay Anar were examined in this fantastic theory template. Each criterion that Tzvetan Todorov has determined for the fantastic genre has been determined on the novels of Ihsan Oktay Anar.
